Attorney
Duke Barnes is the founder and owner of the Law Office of Duke Barnes, Corp; he has been practicing for nearly 20 years.
Duke grew up in middle Tennessee. From an early age, Duke’s parents instilled in him the value of hard work and ethics.
Duke worked many different jobs to pay his way through college including construction, landscaping, and working on campus at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he did his undergraduate work. He later obtained a Masters in Accounting at Middle Tennessee State University and ultimately went to law school at night while working full time at Nissan North America headquarters in Franklin, TN.
Duke lives in Rutherford County, Tennessee and has two children, one of whom is in college and the other whom starts his junior year of high school in the Fall of 2025. Duke is married to Heather Barnes, a fantastic cook and mother. Duke enjoys working out, cooking, and playing with the family dog, Mavis.
